There's a good chance you haven't heard of Ross Katz or his indie comedy, Adult Beginners, but the cast he's gathered will make you take notice. Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Nick Kroll, Joel McHale, Jane Krakowski, and Bobby Moynihan star in the midlife crisis comedy which received some glowing reviews at TIFF last year. Now with the film due out in a month a new trailer has been released.
If you've seen Kroll's work on FX's The League then you know he's perfectly cast as a total narcissist who loses everything and is forced to move in with his pregnant sister (Byrne) her husband (Cannavale), and their 3-year-old son who he begins babysitting. Kroll developed the story himself and it's definitely the kind of film where life lessons about growing up will be learned, but judging by this trailer it also looks very funny.
Adult Beginners hits VOD and theaters on April 24th.
