It's a land of fire and blood...and explosions. Lots and lots of explosions. The latest teaser for George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road highlights the adrenaline-fueled action flick's explosive side, and I'm guessing there is much more where this came from. Is it me or are these the most beautiful explosions ever? Maybe that's why it's landed an out-of-competition spot at Cannes?
Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, and Nicholas Hoult star in the fourth film in the Mad Max franchise, and here's the synopsis:
Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
