Even Matt Murdock could see Netflix hit it big with the first season of Marvel's Daredevil. If you started watching it on the first weekend, chances are you binge watched all the way through the 13-episode season and were ready for more. Netflix wants more, too, and have struck a deal for another season that will air on 2016, but there will be one major change.
Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight won't be returning for the second season due to scheduling conflicts. Instead it will be Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, who were involved in the first season, taking over the job. They'll also exec-produce alongside Jeph Loeb and Drew Goddard. Presumably stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ayelet Zurer, and Rosario Dawson will return.
The next Marvel Netflix series is AKA Jessica Jones and should arrive later this year.
