"Drift King" Brian Tee is the New Shredder in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2'

So it's been nine years since Brian Tee played the "Drift King" in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, it remains the role he'll always be remembered for. At least by me. Tee, who recently had a role in The Wolverine and will appear in this summer's Jurassic World, has now taken over the role of Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.

Tee replaces Tohoru Masamune who played the Turtle villain in the prior film. He joins Megan Fox, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Stephen Amell, and Tyler Perry in the sequel to the $485M-grossing blockbuster, which will be directed by David Green (Earth to Echo) and produced by Michael Bay. Shredder is a martial arts master and leader of the evil Foot Clan. He's expected to get some help this time around from Bebop and Rocksteady, although the presence of the extraterrestrial creature known as Krang hasn't been confirmed.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 opens June 3rd 2016. [Variety]
