'Full House' Returns with Netflix Series 'Fuller House'

Have mercy, the rumors were true. After rumors first surfaced last summer and then picked up again in recent weeks, Full House is coming back to TV. Netflix has confirmed a 13-episode order for Fuller House, a series that follows the returning characters DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure), her best friend Kimmy Gibler (Andrea Barber), and DJ's younger sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin).

John Stamos, who will produce and guest star as Uncle Jesse, confirmed the news on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, and Twitter has blown up with the news. It's still unclear if other original cast members, such as Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Lori Loughlin will return but negotiations with them are underway.

The series will kick off with a one-hour reunion show, followed the official first episode which follows DJ, a recently-widowed mother of three kids living in San Francisco with Stephanie, an aspiring musician, along with single-mother Kimmy and her feisty teenaged daughter.

The cast has remained a tight-knit group since the show ended twenty years ago, and fans have been vocal about their desire to see them reunited in a new series. Candace Cameron was a serious crush of mine back in the day, but my desire to see her in Full House now is absolute zero.
