First Clip and Two NSFW Posters for Gaspar Noe's 3D Romance, 'Love'

So what do we know about Gaspar Noe at this point in his career? That the director behind Irreversible and Enter the Void holds absolutely nothing back, and doesn't give a damn who he offends in the process. If you saw Irreversible then you're probably still haunted by Monica Bellucci's rape scene; and Enter the Void is still a hot topic of discussion six years after release. But all of that has been nothing compared to the hype surrounding his latest film, Love, a 3D love story with promo images that are straight-up porn, yo.

And now that graphic trend continues with the release of two more images and the first clip. Look, the images are NSFW and speak for themselves but probably serve you well if in need of something for the "spank bank". As for the story itself, it promises to be provocative stuff, but the synopsis suggests it will be more than just a bunch of people knockin' boots.

January the 1st, early morning. The telephone rings. Murphy wakes up next to his young wife and 2-year-old child. He listens to his voicemail: Electra’s mother, sick with worry, wants to know whether he has heard from her daughter. Electra’s been missing for a long time. She's afraid something really bad has happened to her. Over the course of a long rainy day, Murphy finds himself alone in his apartment, reminiscing about the greatest love affair of his life, his two years with Electra. A burning passion full of promises, games, excesses and mistakes…

The first clip is pretty mild, though, but this is probably just the start of something more illicit. It involves a three-way make-out session where the only memorable thing is the guy's elation at learning one of the girls is a teenager. Yeah, this movie is going to go to some places people may not be ready for. Love debuts tonight at Cannes and I can't wait for the reactions. [via ThePlaylist]
