Kevin Smith Has Revealed The Title Of His 'Mallrats' Sequel

So who is coming back for Kevin Smith's sequel to cult comedy, Mallrats? Just about everybody. Naturally, he had to bring back Jeremy London and Jason Lee as slacker duo T.S. and Brodie, and both actors are confirmed to return. Over the last few weeks Smith has also added Shannen Doherty, Joey Lauren Adams, Claire Forlani, Ethan "Sailboat" Suplee, Renee Humphrey (I had a super crush on her), Michael Rooker, Stan Lee, Sven-Ole Thorsen aka "LaFours", and of course himself and Jason Mewes. So...pretty much everybody. But Smith has also now revealed the film's title, and it suggests a new group of mallrats will be the focus.

Smith took to Twitter and revealed the film's title is MallBrats. which could mean a new, younger cast is coming aboard. There are six new characters yet to be cast and at least some of them will be these "brats", and it will be interesting to see who he casts. Maybe he'll reach out to some familiar faces like Red State's Nicholas Braun and Kyle Gallner? Or maybe he'll cast his daughter Harley Quinn Smith alongside Lily-Rose Depp (Johnny's daughter), reuniting them again after Yoga Hosers? And what's up with Ben Affleck? Any chance he reprises his role as mall bully Shannon Hamilton? 

MallBrats shoots later this year and hopefully we'll get it early in 2016. Honestly, Clerks 3 and MallBrats are the first time in years I've been excited about Smith's movies.
