Lily James Joins Ansel Elgort in Edgar Wright's 'Baby Driver'

Who needs Ant-Man? Edgar Wright is lining up some great young stars for Baby Driver, his follow-up to The World's End. With Ansel Elgort already in the key male role, Wright has now added Lily James, who is just coming off Disney's $500M-grossing Cinderella.

James is in talks for the female lead, a diner waitress and love interest for Elgort's character. We've heard him described as a getaway driver who uses the beat of his own personal soundtrack, but now there are some additional plot details that further explain why music is so integral to him.

Ansel Elgort is set to star as a young mute man who has an ear condition that forces him to constantly listen to music in order to drown out the constant ringing in his ears. His character is a driver for a group of bank robbers who goes on the run after a heist goes bad.

Expect Wright to put together another great soundtrack to complement Elgort's performance. James will be seen next battling the undead in a tight corset in Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. [Variety]
