Do we have our first true awards contender in Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs? It's way too early to tell, but certainly Michael Fassbender is among those expected to make a run at Best Actor for his performance as the Apple founder. Unfortunately we don't get to see him in action in the first trailer for the upcoming film, but what we do get is enough to be intrigued.
Penned by Aaron Sorkin, Steve Jobs takes us behind-the-scenes of three major Apple product launches: the Mac, the NeXT, and the IPod. Jobs' relationship with the company went through a lot of peaks and valleys, but that didn't stop him from always looking forward to the future. Along with the trailer are a few images that show Fassbender as Jobs, Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Kate Winslet as Joanna Huffman, and Jeff Daniels as CEO John Sculley.
