New Poster for 'Mad Max: Fury Road'; Early Reviews Call It a "Masterpiece"

Is Mad Max: Fury Road truly "the best action movie of the year" and an "action movie masterpiece"? Those are the superlatives being thrown around about George Miller's film, and while it doesn't open nationwide for a few more days, the early reviews suggest the 30-year wait has been worth it. Right now it sits at an incredible 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, and I can't wait to add my voice to the mix. For now here's one more poster featuring Tom Hardy as the road warrior himself, and Charlize Theron as Furiosa.

SYNOPSIS: Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

Mad Max: Fury Road opens May 15th.
