It’s really about who these people are, and so, yes, I just would love to be in a Marvel film."
Marvel hasn't really eyed any serious contenders for the Captain Marvel role yet, although a few names have been mentioned over the years. Emily Blunt, Yvonne Strahovski, Katee Sackhoff, and Charlize Theron seem to be at the top of fan wishlists, while Angelina Jolie and Ava DuVernay have been eyed as possible directors for the solo film arriving in 2018. Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Meg LeFauve (Inside Out) will be teaming up on the screenplay.
So what do you think? Would Howard make a good Captain Marvel? I have a feeling Marvel will go a bit younger, but I have a hard time betting against Howard for anything.
