David Spade's White Trash Hero Returns in New Trailer for 'Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser'

While I have no fondness at all for Joe Dirt and certainly won't be checking out the sequel, Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser, it does hold the distinction of being the first digital-only sequel of a major theatrical film. Of course, it took 14 years to get here and nobody was really begging for it, but here's a full trailer for the grimy David Spade comedy anyway. Here's the synopsis:

In this sequel to the 2001 cult favorite, David Spade ("Rules of Engagement") returns as the mullet-wearing, rock and roll loving, down on his luck white-trash-hero who embarks on another epic journey, this time through the recent past, the heartland of America - and his own mind - to get back to his loved ones. Joe Dirt is back with a vengeance, and a mop.

Directed by Fred Wolf with Brittany Daniel, Christopher Walken, Mark McGrath, Adam Beach, Dennis Miller, and Patrick Warburton co-starring, Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser streams on Crackle beginning July 16th.
