Sarah Connor Saves the Day in Two 'Terminator Genisys' Clips

"New Mission, New Fate", has been the tagline on a number of Terminator Genisys posters, but what exactly does that mean? Paramount, and director Alan Taylor, have taken the classic Terminator story we all know, and given it a twist that promises to shake everything to its core. Are audiences interested in a relaunched Terminator, though? And what's so special about this version that will lure in audiences still turned off by Terminator Salvation?

Two new clips from the film have arrived that begin to answer that question. Jai Courtney plays future soldier Kyle Reese, who is once again sent back to 1984 to save Emilia Clarke's Sarah Connor. Only when he arrives he finds that the timeline is totally jacked up. She's pretty cool with the T-800 model Terminator played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, and there are some other big changes to deal with. One question that emerges in the second of these clips is how Sarah knows the timeline has been altered if she's living in it, but presumably that question will be answered at some point.

Also starring Lee Byung-hun as the T-1000, Jason Clarke as John Connor aka the T-3000, Matt Smith, and JK Simmons, Terminator Genisys opens July 1st.
