When Marvel's Agents of SHIELD returns for season three this September it will be a whole new world for Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team. They've survived HYDRA, discovered the powerful Inhumans, and fought back against Jiaying's evil plans. All of that will force Coulson to form a new team that will resemble the Secret Warriors from the comics. But he's also keeping close to those who have been with him the longest, and they're all assembled on this sweet new Comic-Con poster, drawn by superstar Marvel artist, Jim Cheung. Here's the synopsis for season three...
"In the aftermath of SHIELD’s battle with Jiaying and the Inhumans, Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) will search the world for more powered people and assemble an extraordinary new team to deal with threats unlike the world has ever seen. However, the Agents of SHIELD will soon find out they’re not the only ones tracking down these new Inhumans.”
Those planning to attend SDCC will be able to pick up the poster at the Marvel booth, and you can meet the show's cast on Friday, July 10 from 3:00 to 4:15 pm in Ballroom 20 during the Marvel Television Presents panel.
Meanwhile, Dominic Cooper is set to reprise his role as billionaire inventor/playboy Howard Stark when Agent Carter returns for its second season. Den of Geek got the word straight from the mouth of star Hayley Atwell, who says “there will be repetition of characters. So Jarvis and Howard will be there with us again. Yeah, we can’t have a show without those guys.”
Agent Carter will head to Hollywood for a mission only she and Jarvis are equipped to handle. The series will again be the midseason replacement for Agents of SHIELD when it goes on hiatus.
