Last year Christopher Landon was spooking audiences with Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, and this Halloween season he returns with another horror that looks more silly than scary. The first poster and clip from Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (formerly Scouts vs. Zombies) have been released and...well, at least it deserves an "effort badge" or something.
Starring Logan Miller, Tye Sheridan, Halston Sage, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and David Koechner, the film centers on three scouts whose last camp out turns into a fight to save their neighborhood from a zombie outbreak. This clip seems to be trying to capture the irreverent attitude of Zombieland, as the scouts earn their "wildlife badge" when a killer zombie kitty attacks. Eh.
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse opens Oct. 30th.
