Paul Feig's Ghostbusters has been touted as an all-female version of the classic 1984 film, but there are some high-profile guys that will be joining stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon. Thor himself Chris Hemsworth is on board as the team receptionist, and now today comes word that Andy Garcia and Michael K. Williams are joining the cast.
The Wrap reports that Garcia will be playing the Mayor of New York City, while Williams will play a character named "Hawkins". Williams is best known for his stint as Omar on HBO's The Wire, but he also recently worked alongside Wiig in IFC's spoof miniseries The Spoils Before Dying. Garcia was most recently seen in Kill the Messenger and Let's Be Cops.
Ghostbusters opens on July 22, 2016.
