Marvel has a new fascination with heist movies. Guardians of the Galaxy was one long intergalactic heist, from planning to execution. And now Ant-Man centers on thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) who is tasked by Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) with stealing the powerful suit that will turn him into a superhero. A new 2-minute clip shows how Lang and his crew (Michael Pena, T.I. Harris, and David Dastmalchian) pull the heist off. It's a scene that shows Lang has skills that have nothing to do with super powers.
Following on the heels of a very revealing TV spot that gave away a key cameo, this seems like the kind of clip that Marvel should have held on to. Here's hoping they aren't giving away all of the film's secrets too soon.
Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17th, directed by Peyton Reed.
