Another Major Spider-Man Character May Appear in 'Captain America: Civil War'

Captain America: Civil War has only just wrapped shooting, but for weeks the Internet has been abuzz with every little detail regarding it. This is especially true when it comes to the debut of Spider-Man (Tom Holland) before he swings over to his solo movie in 2017. But it turns out there may be another major Spidey character turning up in the already jam-packed film, and the scenes involving this character were shot totally in secret. Beware of spoilers below!

While she has yet to be officially confirmed by Marvel, Heroic Hollywood says Marisa Tomei will first appear as Aunt May in next year's Captain America: Civil War. Her scenes were shot totally on the sly just before production wrapped. It's also been revealed that there will be at least one scene taking place in Peter Parker's apartment bedroom, so don't be surprised if Aunt May is there telling him to clean his room.

Another rumor from the same source says that Spider-Man's major fight in the movie is against....Captain America. This would suggest that Spidey is on Iron Man's side during the war, but if it's anything like the comics he could end up switching sides. Surely Cap isn't going to have trouble with a teenaged kid, right? Even if he does have super speed and strength  he should be no match for the more experienced Avenger. We'll just have to wait and see.

Captain America: Civil War opens May 6th 2016.
