Kylo Ren Stalks in New 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Image

Like Darth Vader and Darth Maul before him, Adam Driver's Kylo Ren is poised to be the coolest new badass villain of the Star Wars universe.  Empire has revealed a new image of Ren brandishing his crossguard lightsaber, a unique weapon that is just as visually impressive as Maul's twin-bladed saber. It remains to be seen if he'll be more of a dominant force in Star Wars: The Force Awakens than Maul was in the prequels (he was pretty lame, really), but let's hope so, shall we?

With so many Star Wars movies coming up attention has already turned to the Anthology spinoffs, particularly Gareth Edwards' Star Wars: Rogue One. The film is set between Episodes 3 & 4, centering on a rebel mission to steal the secret Death Star plans. One major villain who was heavily involved in Star Wars may be making a comeback in an unexpected way. Beware of spoilers beyond this point!

According to Daily Mail, Grand Moff Tarkin could return for Rogue One, which only makes sense given he was commander of the Death Star during  Star Wars: A New Hope. How could this happen given that the actor who played him, Peter Cushing, died in 1994? He would be recreated digitally, of course, but remember this is all just a rumor for now.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens December 18th 2015. Rogue One opens December 16th 2016.
