The Terrigen Mists have been unleashed on the world, new Inhumans are emerging every day, and the world is a whole new place for Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team. The new season of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD begins in just a few days, and now IGN has revealed the opening scene of next week's episode featuring our first look at Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennett) using her newfound super powers.
The nearly 5-minute long clip debuts a brand new Inhuman with no comprehension of what is happening to him. As he accidentally causes destruction all around him, Coulson's team and a mysterious rival force are in hot pursuit. While we don't see the season's biggest new villain, Lash, we do get a glimpse at Constance Zimmer as Rosalind Price, head of another faction tracking the new Inhumans.
Here's the synopsis for the third season's first episode, titled "Laws of Nature", which debuts on September 29th on ABC.
Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) leading the charge as S.H.I.E.L.D. searches the world for more powered people in the aftermath of their epic battle with Jiaying and her army of Inhumans. However, Coulson and the team soon find out that they are not the only group looking for these new Inhumans.
When Coulson and the team discover a new Inhuman, S.H.I.E.L.D. comes face to face with another organization searching for powered people. And still reeling from Simmons’ dramatic disappearance, Fitz goes to extreme lengths to try to learn how to get her back.
