Maisie Williams and Asa Butterfield are 'Arrivals'; Sophie Cookson Joins 'The Crucifixion'
Maisie Williams, who is currently filming Game of Thrones and a couple of Doctor Who episodes, will join Asa Butterfield in Arrivals, an indie film directed by Peter Hutchings. Penned by newcomer Fergal Rock, the film has Butterfield as a hypochondriac who has his world turned upside down by a free-spirited girl with a terminal illness and a bucket list to complete. Butterfield can be seen right now in A Brilliant Young Mind (review here). Arrivals begins shooting next winter. [THR]
Kingsman: The Secret Service's Sophie Cookson has lined up her next project which has some interesting talent behind it. She'll star in The Crucifixion, which is, you guessed it, a supernatural thriller. This one comes from The Conjuring writers Chad and Carey Hayes with visual maestro Xavier Gens (Hitman, The Divide) directing the story of a journalist's efforts to determine if a nun's death during an exorcism was murder or something paranormal.
