Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson Spiral Into Despair In the 'Meadowland' Trailer

Debuting to solid reviews at Tribeca earlier this year was Meadowland, the directorial debut by cinematographer Reed Morano. Having worked on the likes of Kill Your Darlings, Frozen River, Martin Scorsese's upcoming HBO series Vinyl, and many more, Morano has rubbed elbows with a lot of stars who show up in the film's new trailer.

Starring Olivia Wilde, Luke Wilson, Elisabeth Moss, Giovanni Ribisi, Ty Simpkins, Juno Temple, John Leguizamo, Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi, Merritt Weaver, Kevin Corrigan, and Mark Feuerstein, the story centers on a grieving couple spiraling into self-destruction after the death of their child. Here's the synopsis:

In the hazy aftermath of an unimaginable loss, Sarah (Olivia Wilde) and Phil (Luke Wilson) come unhinged, recklessly ignoring the repercussions. Phil starts to lose sight of his morals as Sarah puts herself in increasingly dangerous situations, falling deeper into her own fever dream.

Meadowland hits theaters October 16th and VOD on October 22nd.
