First Clip from 'Spectre' Puts the 007 Program in Jeopardy
In Skyfall the 007 program had to contend with the changing face of British Intelligence. Was the program, and by extension James Bond himself, becoming obsolete in a more advanced world where secret agents are a thing of the past? Judging by the first clip from Spectre, the decision has been handed down and Bond may be going bye-bye.
"It's not personal, it's the future, and you're not." That's what MI6 head Gareth Mallory (Ralph Fiennes) and Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) have to listen to from a smug member of the British government as he informs them of 007's future, or lack thereof. There's a pretty good chance that Bond will save the world and thus prove his worth, but for now he and the entire program are on thin ice.
Spectre hits theaters on November 6th.
