We're happy to offer our DC readers a chance to attend a free advance screening of Truth, starring Robert Redford as Dan Rather and Cate Blanchett as 60 Minutes producer, Mary Mapes. Written and directed by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac), the film chronicles the "Rathergate" scandal when Rather and Mapes reported that President George W. Bush received preferential treatment during his time in the National Guard, and may have been AWOL during the Vietnam War. When the story blew up in their faces, the firestorm devastated the careers of everyone caught up in it.
