Ben Affleck's forever-delayed adaptation of Live By Night finally gets rolling next month, and he's rounding out the cast with Chris Cooper, who he worked with on The Town. The Oscar-winner joins Affleck, Sienna Miller, Zoe Saldana, Elle Fanning, and Chris Messina in the Prohibition-era drama that follows organized crime in Boston. Cooper plays a Florida sheriff who has an encounter with Affleck's character, Joe Coughlin. [Variety]
Scott Shepherd, last seen shadowing Tom Hanks in Bridge of Spies, has jumped to a different espionage film, Bourne 5. Marking Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass' return to the franchise, the film stars Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander, Tommy Lee Jones, and Vincent Cassel, with Shepherd reportedly playing the deputy director of the CIA. Filming is underway now in Budapest to hit a July 29th 2016 release date. [Variety]
