There aren't going to be a lot of recognizable names in the cast of Lionsgate's Power Rangers, but at least there will be one recognizable face. RJ Cyler, who looks to be a rising star after his title role in Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, has joined up as the Blue Ranger.
Cyler joins Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, and Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger. At this rate the entire team should be filled in the next couple of days. This is another big role for Cyler who is also filming War Machine alongside Brad Pitt.
Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (Thor) wrote the screenplay with Dean Israelite (Project Almanac) directing. Power Rangers opens January 13th 2017.
