Sally Field is a Good Kind of Weird in the 'Hello, My Name is Doris' Trailer

The name Michael Showalter will be familiar to fans of comedies Wet Hot American Summer and The State, but earlier this year he took a surprisingly dramatic turn. SXSW saw the debut of his film, Hello, My Name is Doris, featuring a lead performance by Sally Field that helped it earn the festival's Audience Award.

The film is another look at late season love, reinforcing the idea that it's never too late to find passion in life. Field plays Doris, a woman who has never experienced true love outside of her favorite romance novels, but she thinks she's found it when she meets John (New Girl's Max Greenfield), a young, hip, art director. With the help of her best friend's (Tyne Daly) granddaughter, Doris uses the Internet to find out everything she can on John in an effort to become part of his social circle.

Also starring Natasha Lyonne, Kumail Nanjiani, Peter Gallagher, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Beth Behrs, Hello, My Name is Doris opens March 11th 2016.
