The Hulk Confirmed to Appear in 'Thor: Ragnarok'
Get ready for a superhero buddy team-up, folks. A few days ago a rumor surfaced that Mark Ruffalo's next appearance as the Hulk could be in Thor: Ragnarok, following the character's uncertain fate at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Well now various sites including Deadline are reporting Ruffalo is nearing a deal to make that a reality.
There have been some interesting developments for the film as of late, including the arrival of director Taika Waititi (Flight of the Conchords) to add a touch of humor to the apocalyptic tale penned by Chris Kyle. The story is rumored to take place on a distant planet that isn't Asgard or Earth, but apparently it's facing the "Ragnarok" which is destined to destroy everything.
Could this be a lead-in to the Hulk finally getting his own solo movie, possibly one based on the popular Planet Hulk storyline? This seems like a good setup for it, but we won't know until Thor: Ragnarok opens on November 3rd 2017.
