Some may find these little squeaky-voiced Hatchlings from The Angry Birds Movie cute, but frankly it makes me want to toss them all in a deep fryer. Sony and Rovio have debuted this clip of the Hatchlings as they attempt, and fail, to sing "Deck the Halls" and deliver unto you some holiday cheer.
The Hatchlings were voiced by actual kids, but according to producer John Cohen's comments to People they didn't know the song at all. He says, "The young children were brought in and we asked them to sing 'Deck The Halls. The good news for us was none of them knew the words."
Well isn't that just adorable? Anyway, the actual movie is based on the mobile game phenomenon and features the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Peter Dinklage, Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, and more. The Angry Birds Movie opens July 1st 2016.
