Chances are you have never heard of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, but that may be about to change. The top Bollywood star appears ready to make her big move into Hollywood, and she'll do it on the arm of Vin Diesel in his upcoming sequel, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage.
The rumors began swirling when Padukone revealed an image on Instagram that looks to be her with Diesel in front of the XXX logo. Either she's shooting a porn with Telly Savalas or she's hugging up on Diesel because she's part of his return to the XXX franchise after he skipped out on the second one, XXX: State of the Union. Diesel's actually been courting Padukone for some time as some may recall he wanted her for Furious 7 but scheduling couldn't be worked out.
While Padukone's signing has yet to be officially confirmed stateside, Indian trades have been boasting of the news for days. Her agent also posted this message on Facebook that seems to back up her casting...
"Am so proud of this girl. What an announcement....What a journey it has been!!"
XXX: The Return of Xander Cage will be directed by DJ Caruso and should begin filming this month.
