Think the Western genre is dead? Think again, as this year has seen multiple Old West movies with more on the way. The Hateful Eight, The Revenant, Slow West, Bone Tomahawk...all have made their mark and another that's saddling up is Natalie Portman's long-troubled Jane Got A Gun, which has just debuted a new trailer.
Portman stars in and produces the film which she obviously has a lot of faith in since she's basically the only one who stuck around through the atrocious casting and production process. Joel Edgerton, Ewan McGregor, Noah Emmerich, Rodrigo Santoro and Boyd Holbrook co-star in the film about a woman who must turn to her gunslinging ex-lover to help defend her outlaw husband from a gang that wants to fill him full of bullets. Gavin O'Connor came aboard to direct after Lynne Ramsay dropped out just before filming.
Jane Got A Gun opens January 29th 2016.
