Wes Anderson Adds Bill Murray To His Stop Motion Animated Dog Movie

Right now you can check out Bill Murray having some holiday fun with a bunch of his celebrity pals in Netflix's A Very Murray Christmas, but he's already got his sights set on what's next. While attending the Marrakech International Film Festival, Murray revealed (via ThePlaylist) that he's rejoining Wes Anderson for his upcoming stop motion animated film about dogs.

This would be Anderson's return to animation since the excellent Fantastic Mr. Fox, which Murray also had a voice role in. The current voice cast consists of Anderson regulars like Edward Norton, Bob Balaban, Jeff Goldblum, and Bryan Cranston who will be working with the director for the first time.

There aren't any plot details available but Murray called it "a Japanese story" which mostly fits what Anderson has said about it previously. It's safe to say at this point that Anderson is Murray's favorite director to work with, or at least one of them. He's starred or appeared in seven of Anderson's movies, most recently in The Grand Budapest Hotel.
