Comedy troupe The Lonely Island are making the jump back to the big screen with Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and for their first feature since 2007's Hot Rod (which bombed) they've assembled a killer cast of celebrity cameos to satirize the music industry. You can get a look at just a few of them in the first NSFW trailer for the anticipated mockumentary.
Andy Samberg stars as Connor4Real (even that name is hilarious), a powerful and arrogant rapper surrounded by an army of sycophants, none of whom are there to help him when his career goes down the drain. Lonely Island's Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer co-star as his DJ and lyricist, while also co-directing the film. With Simon Cowell, Usher, Maya Rudolph, Tim Meadows, Carrie Underwood, Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled, Bill Hader, Adam Levine, Will Forte, and Sarah Silverman all making appearances the film is absolutely packed with guest stars, looking like Zoolander set in the music world.

The comedy goes behind the scenes as singer/rapper Conner4Real (Samberg) faces a crisis of popularity after his sophomore album flops, leaving his fans, sycophants and rivals all wondering what to do when he’s no longer the dopest star of all.
