Is This Sylvester Stallone's 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2' Role?

Take this with a grain of salt and beware of potential Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 spoilers, okay?  Last week rumors surfaced that Sylvester Stallone may have joined the Marvel sequel, based on some photos of him with a script and headed to the Atlanta shooting location. Well now On Location Vacations have heard from someone on the set who have information on Stallone's role, and if true it's going to be pretty funny....

The site's source claims to have spotted Stallone in a costume that resembles his Judge Dredd gear. While that would be a cool crossover idea, Dredd is not a Marvel character so they can't outright use him. Chances are it was Stallone in some kind of Nova Corps outfit since they are similar in a lot of ways. This doesn't shut the door on him playing a known character, either, but since his role is expected to be a cameo that's unlikely.

Also, the source says a scene was shot that will feature the return of Howard the Duck. The angry fowl showed up in the post-credits scene of the first film, having escaped The Collector's shop. Does this mean we can expect a bigger role for Howard, perhaps even making the main storyline? We'll find out when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens May 5th 2017.
