Lake Bell To Direct And Star With Ed Helms In Marriage Comedy 'What's The Point?'

It's been way too long since the multi-talented Lake Bell's directorial debut, the voiceover comedy In A World.... The film received high praise and pegged her as a threat in front of and behind the camera, and finally she's readying her sophomore feature, only this time she'll be exploring the very idea of marriage.

Bell is set to write, direct, and star in What's the Point? (And Other Fair Questions About Marriage), which sounds like a Woody Allen title if there ever was one.  Joining her in the film is Ed Helms, with the two part of the ensemble that explores whether marriage should be a seven-year contract with an option to renew.  

With Bell's sensibilities and the cast of comedic heavyweights she's likely to gather this one could be a lot of fun. Filming begins next month and hopefully there will be more info on it before then.
