Trailer For Pixar's 'Finding Dory' Featuring Ellen Degeneres As The Forgetful Fish

Thirteen years have passed since Disney/Pixar's beloved Finding Nemo opened, but if you think there isn't demand for this summer's sequel, Finding Dory, then think again. The aquatic comedy featuring Ellen Degeneres as the voice of the forgetful Dory is only a few years removed from Finding Nemo's 3D re-release, which earned an incredible $400M. If anything, that proves the audience is ready to dive in as Dory searches for her long-lost family.

The latest trailer debuted on Degeneres' Youtube channel, and it takes us back years to when Dory was just a baby blue tang fish. We not only see when she becomes separated from her parents, but also the time she spent at a marine institute after being snagged in one of those soda can rings people toss into the ocean all of the time. There she meets a beluga whale voiced by Ty Burrell, a whale shark voiced by Kaitlin Olson, and an octopus voiced by Ed O'Neill. All of these colorful underwater characters will play a part in Dory's quest for a family reunion. There will also be some familiar faces, or voices, such as Albert Brooks as Marlin, and of course Nemo makes an appearance.

Also featuring the voices of Bill Hader, Willem Dafoe, Eugene Levy, Diane Keaton, Kate McKinnon, Idris Elba, and Dominic West, Finding Dory opens June 17th.
