You're going to be seeing a lot of Cillian Murphy in a WWII setting over the coming months. Currently he's on set as part of Christopher Nolan's Operation Dynamo film, Dunkirk, which is already shaping up to be a massive war epic. But before then you'll get to see Murphy in a smaller film about another famous, and equally important, WWII operation.
Murphy stars alongside Jamie Dornan, Charlotte Le Bon, Sam Keely, Anna Geislerová, Harry Lloyd, Bill Milner and Toby Jones in Anthropoid, the latest film from Cashback director, Sean Ellis. The story centers two Czech soldiers sent on a mission to assassinate top S.S. officer Reinhard Heydrich, one of the architects behind the "Final Solution".
This looks solid, if kind of familiar since so many of these historical thrillers have been done recently. Still probably worth checking out if only for the cast. Anthropoid hits theaters on August 12th.
