No...it's not over. Following brand new trailers for Wonder Woman and Justice League, Warner Bros. has now revealed yet another Suicide Squad trailer cut for the Comic-Con crowd. Seriously, is there going to be ANYTHING left that we haven't seen? We know Warner Bros. is desperate for people to see the film but this is crazy.
There's a ton of new footage here, which again I think is a problem, and much of it focusing on the idea of teamwork, with Phil Jackson's "Triangle Offense" even getting a mention. Everything else you already know: Will Smith is Deadshot, Margot Robbie is the already-popular Harley Quinn, Jared Leto is Joker, and they are all part of a team of bad guys forced into suicidal missions by government big-wig, Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis. Actually, I'm not convinced Joker is part of the team at all. He seems to be off doing his own thing.
Directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad arrives on August 5th.
