It's only been a few days since the latest trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but already a new international one is here with a key clue. In fact, it's the kind of detail that some could consider a spoiler, so just beware from here.
What this new cut reveals is how the Rebels learn about the Death Star in the first place. It turns out the message they receive comes from Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen), the father of Felicity Jones's Jyn Erso. He's a scientist whose technology is aiding the Empire, so he's likely a prisoner who somehow managed to send a coded message out to the rebellion. Or he's a traitor. Either way, he's helping his daughter who he's been estranged from for more than a decade.
