Of all the actors who could conceivably take out Ice Cube in a fight, Pacific Rim and Horrible Bosses star Charlie Day isn't anywhere on the list. But that's what makes the new comedy Fist Fight potentially hilarious as he plays a man destined for a brawl he can't possibly win.
The first images from the Richie Keen-directed comedy have been released by USA Today, and they show Cube and Day nose-to-nose before their fight. Day plays Andy, a meek English teacher who accidentally gets intense history teacher Ron (Cube) fired, leading up to their showdown at the end of school. Tracy Morgan, Jillian Bell, Christina Hendricks, Dean Norris, and Kumail Nanjiani co-star as the school's sleazy faculty.
If this is half as good as Three O'Clock High then I'll be a happy man.
Fist Fight knuckles up next year on February 17th.
