The "stylish, elegant, bewitching, eternally beguiling, continuously charismatic, and fantastically fascinating" WWE superstar Eva Marie is about to star in a movie alongside Nicolas Cage, whose performances lately would make him a second-string actor on Smackdown. The two are joining Faye Dunaway and Nicky Whelan for Inconceivable, which just about describes my thoughts of a Cage/Marie collaboration.
This will be the feature acting debut for Eva Marie, full name Natalie Eva Marie, who has been engaged in a hilarious WWE storyline in which her in-ring debut is delayed by contrived mishaps. So what's this movie about? Whelan stars as Katie, an abused mother who moves into a new neighborhood with her young daughter to start life over again. There she befriends married couple Angela and her husband Brian (Cage). When Angela begins to notice some odd behavior from Katie it forces her to question whether she's harboring some dark intentions.
In a perfect world the role of Angela would be played by Eva Marie, but gorgeous though she may be acting is simply not one of her strengths. Man, can she sell a wardrobe malfunction, though...
How she managed to land this role while vacationing in the Bahamas with the most beautiful woman alive Maryse and her husband The Miz (aka the luckiest man alive) is beyond me, but such is the power of Ms. "All Red Everything".
The film is directed by Jonathan Baker as his directorial debut, working from a screenplay by Chloe King, who gifted us with Poison Ivy II and Asia Argento's B. Monkey, two movies that I think capture the shittiness of '90s femme fatale flicks. [Deadline]
