Guess what? We're less than a week away from the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2!(!!!!!!!!!!!!) So get hyped! The gang is back and James Gunn was a cool enough dude to tweet out the first official poster, which finds them looking like the bunch of a-holes they are. Even the "Obviously" tagline is kind of douchey.
Done up in black and white, giving it a slick retro feel, the poster features Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Baby Groot (look closely), joined by former rivals Yondu and Nebula. Can the team really trust them, though? Heck, can they trust one another?
Can we maybe get another image done in the same style only with new additions Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, and Elizabeth Debicki? Pretty please?
The best thing about this poster is how much it differs from the photo shopped junk we tend to get with superhero movies. And yes, that includes you, Marvel. Get excited! Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens May 5th 2017. But that trailer, though! Six days!
