Trailer For Gore Verbinski's 'A Cure For Wellness' Teases A Sickness Inside Us All

It's been three years since Gore Verbinski last got behind the camera, and that was for the biggest fail of his career, Disney's The Lone Ranger. Despite that flop he's got a string of hits under his belt, from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise to the animated western Rango. But his breakout film was actually a horror, the American remake of The Ring, and now Verbinski has returned to the genre with a new film, A Cure for Wellness, which has debuted some chilling promos and the first trailer.

Premiering tonight during American Horror Story, the trailer teases a mysterious therapeutic facility in the Swiss Alps. Dane DeHaan plays an ambitious young exec sent to the wellness center to retrieve his boss, only to learn the supposed treatment they offer isn't what it seems.  Jason Isaacs and Mia Goth co-star. Here's the full synopsis:

An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company's CEO from an idyllic but mysterious "wellness center" at a remote location in the Swiss Alps.  He soon suspects that the spa's miraculous treatments are not what they seem.  When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure.

After some delays, A Cure for Wellness finally hits theaters on February 17th 2017.
