Fox Shuffles Release Dates, Adds Two Mystery Marvel Films

Along with moving up Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant a full three months 20th Century Fox is shuffling around a few key titles while adding a couple of mystery Marvel dates. First up, Kingsman: The Golden Circle has been bumped from June 6th 2017  to October 6th 2017. The interesting thing about that is it's replacing a previously-set Marvel film which has now been removed from the schedule. What was it? Possibly the delayed Gambit movie with Channing Tatum? Or a Fantastic Four sequel?

Don't fret that Fox is turning away from superheroes, though, because they've added two more Marvel movies on November 2nd 2018 and February 14th 2019. One of those is probably going to be Deadpool 2, which recently named David Leitch as its director. There's a good chance Josh Boone's New Mutants movie, which is gearing up for a spring shoot, will be the other.

Avatar 2 FINALLY seems to have found a home as an untitled movie from James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertanment has been pegged for December 21st 2018. The only other film it could be is Alita: Battle Angel but that one already has a date in July. So yeah, for now let's figure this is the long-awaited return to Pandora.
