It's the day after Thanksgiving, the Black Friday deals are in full effect, but you might want to hang on to a few dollars if you're eager for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Lucasfilm has confirmed advance tickets for the anticipated standalone will go on sale Monday, November 28th.
Lord Vader, we've been expecting you. Tickets for #RogueOne: A Star Wars Story are available on Monday, November 28. pic.twitter.com/is1lIw9W4u— Star Wars (@starwars) November 25, 2016
The exact time appears to be midnight EST, and it might be a good time to be ready. When 'The Force Awakens' tickets were made available a number of sites had trouble handling the rush. With a $150M opening weekend projected you can bet tickets are going to go at warp speed. You can pre-order tickets on Monday from Fandango right here.
And just in case you needed a little more reason to get excited, here's what's being called the "final" trailer. I have my doubts it's the last we'll see, especially since it was dropped during Disney's Magical Holiday Celebration special last night on ABC. Whatever the case, there's some stuff in this minute-long footage that I would say skews close to being spoilery, so keep that in mind.
Anyway, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens December 16th.
