Trust In The Force With New 'Rogue One' Trailer And IMAX Posters
I'm sorry, what was that about a "final trailer" for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story? Yeah, I didn't believe it then and obviously it wasn't because here's another one with bits of new footage. At this point, at least for me, the decision has to be made to just tune most of it out because I feel like too much is being revealed.
This latest cut begins with a young Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) being handed a crystal, presumably the kind used to make lightsabers, by her mother and told to "Trust the Force". We've been told there are no Jedi in this movie, but the Force clearly plays a big role. Here's the synopsis, although you probably know what it's all about.
From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Tickets go on sale this Monday at 12:01am EST, so get ready. Trust me, they'll go fast. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens December 16th. Check out the trailer below and some cool new IMAX posters.
