Wedding crashing may soon become a thing again, so go ahead and get that tuxedo out of the closet. Fans of the hit comedy Wedding Crashers, which had millions quoting Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn endlessly, have been wanting a sequel for years and according to co-star Isla Fisher it's about to happen.
Fisher dropped the news while on The Today Show hyping her role in Nocturnal Animals. She said she heard it straight from Vaughn himself while attending a party, but didn't have any further details. Fortunately, Deadline has learned Fist Fight writers Evan Susser and Van Robichaux have been hired to work on the script, while no official deals are in place for Vaughn, Wilson, Fisher, Rachel McAdams, Bradley Cooper, or prior director David Dobkin.
You'd think following lousy sequels for Anchorman and Zoolander studios would be reluctant to try another, but New Line apparently thinks now is a good time to get the Wedding Crashers motorboat revved up and ready to go again.
