The punk rock movement has served as the backdrop of many a coming-of-age story, but doubtful any will be quite as weird, or as punk, as John Cameron Mitchell's How to Talk to Girls at Parties. Based on the great short story by the equally great Neil Gaiman, this punk alien love story stars Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, Ruth Wilson, Alex Sharp, and Matt Lucas.
With the film set to debut at Cannes shortly, we're getting a batch of new teasers and a handful of images, one showcasing Kidman in punk rock mode, which is kinda cool. It's her first time working with Mitchell since their acclaimed pairing on Rabbit Hole, and who knows? Similar nods may follow.
