Jeff Bridges & Diane Lane To Star In Reed Morano's Next Film
Not to be lost in the accolades for The Handmaid's Tale star Elisabeth Moss is the contribution from director and exec-producer, Reed Morano. The longtime cinematographer on everything from Frozen River to The Skeleton Twins directed the series' first three episodes, helping to make it the most talked about show of 2017. After making her feature directorial debut in 2015 with Meadowland (arguably Olivia Wilde's finest performance), Morano has now lined up a stellar duo for her sophomore effort.
Jeff Bridges and Diane Lane are set to star in Morano's untitled film formerly known as First Chair. Penned by Stuart Blumberg (The Kids Are All Right), the story follows a regimented, self-absorbed virtuoso violinist who moves back in with his estranged wife after receiving a life-threatening diagnosis. While they are trying to learn to live with one another again, he undergoes a profound change in behavior that compels him to connect with the people and music around him in ways he never has before and never could have anticipated.
This is a reunion for Bridges and Lane who starred in Wild Bill together back in 1995.
