Michael Moore Will Hit Trump Again With Documentary 'Fahrenheit 11/9'

The most surprising thing about this news is that it took so long for Michael Moore to turn his disdain for Donald Trump into another movie. Sure, he had Michael Moore in Trumpland but nobody saw that one, it was terrible, and it came at a time when we all thought #45 wouldn't be a guy who admitted to sexual abuse on tape. But now that guy is in office and causing a scandal a day, and Moore is going to hit him much harder this time.

Moore's next documentary will be Fahrenheit 11/9, a title that serves dual purposes. For one thing it's the flipside of his seminal George W. Bush doc, Fahrenheit 9/11, but also is a reference to the month and day Trump was the confirmed winner of the 2016 Presidential Election. And Moore is predicting this film will finally be the thing that sticks to Teflon Don when so many other things haven't...

“No matter what you throw at him, it hasn’t worked. No matter what is revealed, he remains standing. Facts, reality, brains cannot defeat him. Even when he commits a self-inflicted wound, he gets up the next morning and keeps going and tweeting. That all ends with this movie.”

Personally, I can't wait, but Moore might want to hurry because this film won't mean squat if Trump is drummed out of office first. [Variety]
